Estimator – Building & Construction

Bravada Waterproofing is one of the largest waterproofing contractors in the Victorian building and construction industry and provides quality waterproofing services to targeted sectors including commercial builders (Tier 1 & 2) civil builders / consortiums and asset owners / managers requiring remedial waterproofing works.

Bravada’s business continues to grow so we are now looking to add another Estimator to our Estimating Team. The successful candidate will not only excel at the core estimating activity but will need to demonstrate a proven track record of using their advanced selling, networking and customer engagement skills in securing new projects and clients.

Qualifications, Competencies & Experience:

· Degree or diploma in Construction or related field.

· Minimum 3+ years working as an Estimator or similar role.

· Excellent time management & communication skills.

· Proven ability to prioritise & meet deadlines.

· Proven construction industry knowledge and networking capability.

· Proven ability as an astute negotiator with ability to close the deal.

· Superior focus on attention to detail and accuracy.

· Experience using Hammertech, Aconex, Procore & other industry systems.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Read & interpret construction drawings and engineering plans.

· Develop technical specifications for job – product selection based on supplier consultation or TDS validation.

· Obtain all information necessary to accurately define scope of works, including by visiting clients / job sites as appropriate.

· Complete quality & detailed take offs for all required areas & items.

· Complete quality Quote / BE / Tender build ups for submission to clients.

· Validate accuracy of quote build ups to established KPI’s & benchmarks.

· Compile quality documents & proposals for tender interviews & client meetings.

· Proactively seek to follow up on submissions issued and close the deal.

· Clearly define contract conditions & review / validate scope of works documents.

What we Offer:

Base remuneration incl super of $90,000 to $120,000 P.A (depending on experience & qualifications).
