Calibre Concrete Group is a Melbourne based specialist in Industrial Concrete Construction.

We have a fantastic team of site and office-based staff whose diligence and vast knowledge of the construction industry allow us to take on a range of both structural commercial and industrial projects with confidence.

We are looking for a driven Estimator with experience in commercial/industrial construction. Calibre Concrete Group is a leading concrete contractor within the commerical and industrial space with projects from $3M to $50M.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1+ years working as an Estimator or similar role is preferred

Excellent time management

Excellent communication skills

Proven ability to work across multiple projects at once

Knowledge in the construction industry

Knowledge in concrete construction is desirable but not essential

Enthusiastic, driven with a desire to succeed

Proficient in MS Office & Excel

Experience using Hammertech, Aconex & Procore is desirable

Experience using Workbench is desirable but not essential

Experience in reading plans and creating takeoffs

Experience with estimating concrete structures is desirable

Tasks & Responsibilities

Obtain pricing from Subcontractors and suppliers

Review scope of works & contracts

Assist with tender submissions

Project procurement

Assist with material & labour take-offs

Submit RFIs

Assist Project Managers with ad hoc tasks

General document control

Estimating new projects

Pricing up variations

Following up changes to quotes

Chasing up projects

Building relationships with clients

Salary package will depend on the candidates experience.
