Kinexus is hiring for an experienced Project Manager to join a consulting team at a first-class, global technology vendor currently supporting Australia's defence and national security community. This role will see you coordinate multiple, complex IT projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery aligned with schedules, budgets, and strategic goals.

This is a permanent role based in Canberra, offering a salary of between $180,000 and $200,000 plus superannuation, generous benefits and a bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply industry-standard project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile/Scrum) to plan and deliver projects.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Manage project scope, timelines, requirements, and facilitate regular client engagements.
• Develop metrics to measure project performance and implement control/reporting procedures.
• Address change management and scope-related issues proactively.
• Create and deliver high-quality project documentation and presentations.
• Collaborate with the Resource Management Office to manage project staffing and resource allocation.

About You:

• Australian Citizenship and an active Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance - Essential.
• 2-3 years of experience managing IT multiple projects within a Defence or National Security agency.
• A minimum of 10 years of total project management experience, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise open source solutions is advantageous.
