Ponds Bistro is a locally loved dining venue known for its warm hospitality, seasonal menu, and commitment to exceptional service. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every guest.

About the Role:

As Venue Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of Ponds Bistro, manage staff, uphold service standards, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the venue. You’ll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day venue operations, including staff rostering, stock control, and service quality

Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team

Maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations

Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver a cohesive and smooth dining experience

Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and customer engagement

Manage bookings, events, and customer relations with professionalism and care

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally in a bistro, brewery or restaurant environment

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Passion for food, beverage, and customer service

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

RSA approved managers certificate and knowledge of local compliance requirements

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Now Book It & Tanda staff scheduling experience

Stong ability to manage cost control
