About the team

Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) was conceived in 2021 to coordinate and optimise the future learner experience. It consists of three core functions where cross-functional resources will ensure emerging priorities and peak periods of activity are met.

About the role

The Officer, School Partnerships is responsible for supporting UTS's presence at school career markets, school visits and on campus recruitment activities. The position holder will also assist with managing UTS's relationship with Careers Advisers and representing UTS on the National Association for Prospective Student Advisors (NAPSA).

If successful in applying for this role, you will:

  • Support UTS's participation at Careers Markets throughout the course of a year and represent UTS at Careers Markets as needed
  • Support the promotion and delivery of outreach programs and events for both metro and regional NSW
  • Liaise directly with Careers Advisers to organise recruitment activities (e.g. presentations, workshops, campus tours) both at the school and on UTS campuses
  • Support delivery of partnership programs and events
  • Coordinate participant feedback through surveys and focus groups, collate and review findings in an effort to inform future events
  • Assist with the management of rostering of casual student ambassadors for outreach programs and events
  • Maintain the UTS Outreach CRM Database ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate
  • Develop and produce content across numerous platforms for student recruitment activities in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Assist with annual contracts and timely delivery of invoices and payments for sponsors
  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and supervision of student ambassadors to represent UTS at outreach events

  • Demonstrated experience and success planning and coordinating events and outreach activities within the higher education sector
  • Prior experience providing outstanding customer/client service and support to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and students from diverse backgrounds

Remuneration & Benefits

Base Salary: $82,266 to $94,570 pa (HEW 5)

This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.

This appointment will be full time and on a fixed term contract for 12 months, covering an internal secondment.
