About the Company:

Operating as Victoria's leading lawn grower since 1985, Lilydale Instant Lawn services the domestic, trade and commercial market. Lilydale Instant Lawn’s farm portfolio comprises in excess of 607 hectares in total. The head office is based at our Yarra Glen farm, with farms also located at Pakenham, and our large scale, sand-based farm at Bairnsdale.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Officer assist with key finance functions including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger support. This part-time role (~20 hours/week) offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing agribusiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and distribute payroll

Handle AP and AR transactions, including invoice entry and payment runs

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Maintain and update accurate financial records

Administer superannuation payments and employee deductions

Support internal queries and provide reporting to management

Ensure compliance with ATO and legislative requirements

Perform general ledger entries and assist with month-end processes

Contribute to continuous improvement within the finance function

Key Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Payroll

Oracle NetSuite experience preferred but not essential

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic team environment
