We are looking for a passionate and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, maintain high culinary standards, and contribute to our menu development.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with our experienced Group Executive Chef. This role is ideal for a chef looking to grow their career with structured mentorship while maintaining creative control over the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.

Develop and update seasonal menus, alongside the Group Exec. Chef

Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen budgets effectively.

Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.

Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant profitability.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef in a quality steakhouse or similar.

Strong knowledge of grilling, butchering, and meat preparation, with a focus on steaks and Australian cuisine.

Ability to create and execute a well-balanced menu with understanding of cost control.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Understanding of HACCP, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
