The Role

In this hands-on position, you will manage large-value supplier relationships and purchasing, oversee procurement operations, and lead a team of three direct reports.

Duties include:

• Oversee and participate in purchasing operations, managing high-value supplier negotiations and purchasing activities.
• Lead and support a team of three direct reports, ensuring efficient workflow and strategic purchasing execution.
• Utilise SAP for procurement management, reporting, and supplier tracking.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to optimise supply chain efficiency and inventory control.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in purchasing and procurement within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to manage supplier negotiations and maintain strategic relationships.
• Experience working with international suppliers
• Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
• Proficiency in SAP for procurement and inventory management.
• Available for an immediate start with the ability to hit the ground running
