We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer (with Forklift Licence) to join our team in Balcatta. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the majority of the role is purchasing with occasional stores support, where you will manage purchasing activities while also assisting with stock control when required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in purchasing (Pronto is desirable, but training will be provided)

Forklift licence (Essential)

Drivers Licence (Essential)

Strong communication skills

Ability to multitask

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Tasks & responsibilities

Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

Process purchase orders and monitor deliveries

Maintain Bill of Materials for products

Assist in managing stock levels and inventory accuracy

Occasionally operate a forklift to move and organize stock safely, receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, packing of finished goods

Ensure compliance with workplace safety and handling procedures
