Medical Secretary - 7 week temporary assignment

About the Organisation:

A highly regarded specialist clinic requires an experienced and reliable Medical Secretary for a 7 week temp assignment commencing circa 16th June. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a professional and compassionate team, offering vital administrative and patient facing support to a respected clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating surgical quotes for patients
• Liaising with anaesthetists and surgical assistants in surgical bookings
• Processing surgical billing
• Answering phones and greeting patients and visitors
• Scheduling appointments and processing payments systems
• Organising external imaging and pathology appointments

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a medical secretary or in a clinical admin role
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ideally in oncology or surgical departments
• Excellent technology, communication, and organisational skills
• Professional, discreet, and patient focused approach
• History working closely with surgeons and associated clinical specialists
