About the role
The Parks and Wildlife Service Visitor Reception Officer provides high quality services to enhance visitor experiences at the spectacular Lake St Clair.
Lake St Clair is a nature lovers paradise located at the southern end of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. It is Australia's deepest freshwater lake with beautiful scenery and a range of walks to suit all visitors.
In this role, the Visitor Reception Officer will:
- Provide information to visitors regarding recreational activities, safety, Leave No Trace principles use, features and facilities of the park.
- Prepare and provide interpretive activities as required.
- Collect revenue from entrance fees and sales.
- Assist with maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Our ideal candidate has
- An understanding of basic office procedures, product sales, ordering, cleaning practices, balancing and accounting monies.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- A current Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
