Lady Gowrie Tasmania is a not-for-profit community based organisation providing education and care to children from birth to 12 years of age.

The role

This role plays an important part in ensuring we have people who are as excited and passionate about Education and Care as we are! Located at our Head Office in South Hobart at the Integrated Centre, this role works closely with our Education and Care Managers and has a focus on recruitment, onboarding and planning for recruitment needs across the organisaiton. While the recruitment workload can flex up and down over the year, you will also support the People and Culture team with employee life cycle processes to meet compliance.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience with recruitment is desirable but not necessary
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail
• Passionate about providing a good candidate and employee experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities well
• Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources is desirable but not necessary
• Tasmanian Registration for working with vulnerable people
• Class C Drivers Licence
