On behalf of our client — a well-established, medium-sized business based in Perth — we are currently seeking a capable and reliable Finance Officer to manage their end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. About the Role:
You’ll take ownership of day-to-day transactional finance tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier payments and customer receivables. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys being part of a small but high-performing finance team

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintain supplier and customer accounts with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial data entry
• Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance tasks

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience in a similar AP/AR role (2+ years preferred)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
