IPI Packers is a leading designer and manufacturer of down-hole products for the Oil & Gas Industry. Having operated for 25 years, IPI is well established in the market, both domestically and internationally. IPI provides a safe and aesthetic working environment with workshop and office facilities built in Bayswater in 2021. We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our accounts team on a full time basis. The right candidate will provide assistance for and report directly to our Office Manager.

Qualifications & experience

Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central) experience an advantage

Experience using accounting software (Xero) essential

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Accounts experience essential - data entry, knowledge of journals and ledgers

Knowledge of incoterms advantageous

Minimum 5 years administration/accounts experience

Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Ability to follow Safety Policies and Procedures

Tasks & responsibilities

Monthly Balance Sheet and Trial Balance reconciliations

Creation and entry of Month End journals

Monitoring of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Generating month end reports for review

Provide assistance to Office Manager and liaise with international finance groups

Provide assistance for internal and external auditing

Overseeing other team members and providing assistance where necessary

General bookkeeping duties - posting journals & data entry as required
