Responsibilities:

Finance Duties

Perform general bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control policies

Provide comprehensive finance administration support

Prepare and manage daily, end-of-month (EOM), and end-of-year (EOY) financial journals

Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register

Record and review general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance

Purchasing Duties

Liaise with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and high-quality materials

Source and evaluate quotations to support procurement activities

Expedite outstanding orders and maintain accurate shipping and airfreight tracking information

Ensure purchase order confirmations align with engineering specifications and business requirements

Manage supplier onboarding and maintain strong supplier relationships

Negotiate supplier agreements to reduce costs and add value

Provide support in resolving discrepancies related to accounts and supplier communications

Experience and Expertise

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply financial data

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with financial modelling

Experience using QuickBooks (desirable but not essential)

Familiarity with international payments and overseas supplier transactions

Excellent computer literacy and high attention to detail

Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous and highly regarded but not essential.
