ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established and respected supplier of industrial and commercial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet extractors and more. With a national footprint and strong presence across key industries (facility management, warehousing, hospitality, government), they are known for providing innovative solutions, excellent after-sales service, and reliable machinery.
Due to continued growth and strong market demand, they are now seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new business and develop key accounts across a defined territory.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the BDM, you’ll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing client relationships. You will work closely with internal technical and service teams to deliver tailored cleaning solutions to clients ranging from commercial cleaning contractors to industrial sites and local councils.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively target and win new business opportunities
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts
Present solutions and product demonstrations to decision-makers
Work autonomously while collaborating with internal stakeholders
Attend trade shows, expos, and site visits as needed
ABOUT YOU
You are a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. Ideally, you bring experience in selling capital equipment, cleaning products, or industrial solutions – but more importantly, you are a self-starter who can hunt and grow.
Skills & Experience:
Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in equipment or industrial sectors
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Confident with CRM systems and reporting sales pipelines
Ability to travel within your territory and occasionally interstate
Mechanical aptitude or technical mindset is a plus
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Base $75,000 - $100,000 | Super 11.5% | Company Car or Car Allowance | Commission
