We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients growing team in an omnichannel retail environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Shopify and payment portals, along with a strong background in retail accounting. This is essential for the role, so it's advised to only apply if you have experience in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management
• Bank reconciliation and payroll processing
• Stock management and inventory reconciliation
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
• Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss review
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Key stakeholder management and communication
• Liaising with external accountants for financial audits and tax compliance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar retail environment, ideally within an omnichannel business, wholesale and/or online
• Proficiency in Shopify and payment portals
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices, including BAS, IAS, and financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Mandarin speaking - Nice to have, not essential
