We are values-driven, people-first, and work as a true extension of our clients. Now, we’re looking for a proficient, BAS agent registered, Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing Australian team.

Why This Role Matters

You will play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and proactive financial operations for a portfolio of exciting, high-growth clients and you will lead the charge in building our Australian compliance function from the ground up. This is more than bookkeeping. You’ll help establish processes, own compliance delivery, and shape how we support Australian start-ups as we scale.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all day-to-day financial transactions across a portfolio of clients

Review and lodge BAS and IAS submissions with precision

Oversee superannuation compliance and payroll tax obligations across all states

Support month-end and year-end close processes (e.g. journals, reconciliations, P&L and B/S checks)

Drive compliance admin, including new entity setup and ATO communication

Perform aged receivables and payables reviews, ensuring proactive, smooth client communication

Conduct and document Xero health checks for onboarding clients and ensure seamless handover

Identify process improvements and implement tools that create efficiencies

Be a champion of best-practice compliance and bookkeeping workflows

What You Will Bring

Proven experience as an All-rounder/Senior Finance Officer/ Senior Bookkeeper

BAS agent registration (essential)

Strong experience with Xero, XPM and Excel

Attention to detail, a love of clean reconciliations, and confidence with GST treatment

Exceptional communication, time management and relationship-building skills

A self-starter attitude and motivation to help build something from scratch

Bonus: experience in a high-growth or startup environment
