We’re seeking a Bar Manager to take the reins at our well-established cocktail venue in St Kilda, with a capacity of 350 patrons and a reputation for quality drinks, good vibes, and excellent service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day bar operations in a high-capacity venue

Perform regular stocktakes and manage inventory with accuracy

Build weekly rosters to balance staffing needs and budget

Maintain strict cash handling procedures and end-of-day reconciliations

Lead, motivate, and train a team of bar staff

Drive innovation in drinks and service offerings

Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant environment (RSA, OH&S, licensing)

Who You Are:

Proven experience managing a high-volume bar or cocktail venue

Excellent with stock control, rostering, and cash handling

A natural people person – approachable, professional, and energetic

Innovative and forward-thinking, always looking to improve

Highly trustworthy, responsible, and dependable

Strong understanding of cocktail trends, bar operations, and team dynamics

Available nights, Weekdays and weekends – this role is hands-on
