About Us

German Community Services Inc. has been proudly supporting older people and carers—primarily of German-speaking heritage—across metropolitan Adelaide for over 20 years. Our organisation values respect, cultural understanding, and community care. While based in Brooklyn Park, this role includes regular visits to clients across the Adelaide metro area.

We offer a flexible and inclusive work environment with the option to work from home one day per week. The role is offered on a part-time basis with the option to increase to full-time.

About the Role

As the Coordinator Community Services, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred support to aged care clients and carers. An enthusiastic service-minded professional, you will be responsible for all aspects of client service coordination, supporting care workers and volunteers and contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

Promote wellness, independence, and informed choice for clients and carers.

Coordinate service delivery from assessment through to service plan implementation and review.

Work effectively as part of our dedicated team.

Uphold WHS and quality assurance practices.

Support management with reporting and service development.

Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Attend regular team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications, experience & skills

Qualifications and/or experience in Aged Care, Community Services, or Disability Support Coordination.

Effective communication and people skills are essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.

Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.

A commitment to client-focused service and a positive team attitude.

German language skills are desirable but not essential.

The following are also required

ACIC accredited and valid police clearance to work with vulnerable people.

Current full SA Driver's License & access to a reliable vehicle
