About the role

We are seeking to appoint a mature, energetic and self-driven Warehouse Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a person looking for career progression, and who has a strong desire to contribute to the success of the smooth operation of all Warehouse functions.

This role is hands on, overseeing freight control of all goods in and out of our depot, and requires you to be proactive and have a participative leadership style to ensure first class customer service achieving both profitability and efficiency of the Warehouse operation.

As a member of the leadership team, this role will be instrumental in leading, developing, training and monitoring team performance.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and coordinate all warehouse loading and unloading activities to ensure maximum productivity and alignment with customer expectations

Ensure timely and accurate execution of all assigned warehouse tasks and processes

Implement and maintain an effective traffic management plan, ensuring clear communication across all relevant departments

Prepare and deliver daily reports on warehouse activity and productivity to senior management

Conduct monthly compliance audits to ensure adherence to depot and warehouse standards

Maintain accurate stock control procedures to support inventory integrity

Promote and ensure the safe operation of forklifts and other equipment

Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations

What we're looking for

Proven industry experience (highly desirable)

Strong self-motivation and initiative

Lateral thinker with effective problem-solving skills, particularly in logistics

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Proficient in intermediate-level computer skills.

Positive, proactive attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Outstanding time management and organisational skills

Valid forklift licence (essential)

Hands-on experience operating both conventional and reach forklifts
