We are seeking a highly organised and outcomes-oriented Project Support Officer (PSO) to join our team in Adelaide. The PSO will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and implementation of various projects within our Defence and Federal Government projects. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with project support tasks including the administration and coordination of project and/or program documentation.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of project, program, and/or portfolio planning and performance processes in accordance with agreed procedures and performance standards.

Support the planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of projects using established tools and processes.

Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.

Research, draft, and prepare briefs, correspondence, and reports including submissions for committee consideration.

Engage with relevant stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns.

Maintain project financial records under the direction of the Project Manager.

Conduct other project-related tasks within the scope of the stated APS level, as required by the assigned work area.

Technical Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a PSO or similar role

Knowledge of project management methodologies, e.g. PRINCE2, Agile etc.

Demonstrated ICT project support competencies
