We’re currently seeking experienced APS6 Senior Program/Project Officers to join several high-impact teams across Federal Government Departments, contributing to policy, delivery and strategic initiatives in health, trade, and regulatory transformation.

The Opportunity
These roles are perfect for skilled professionals who thrive in fast-paced, outcomes-focused environments. You’ll be working across multidisciplinary teams delivering national initiatives including aged care reform, digital health programs, trade streamlining and risk profiling.

Roles available include:

Senior Program/Project Officer – Digital Health and Aged Care Delivery
Work on the rollout of major health and aged care reforms, providing project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and reporting support to ensure successful program implementation.

Project Support Officer – Digital Trade Accelerator Program
Support Australia’s trade system transformation by managing profiling data, stakeholder meetings, and reporting activities for the Department’s key pathways.

Senior Project Officer – Strategic Policy and Program Management
Contribute to national policy and program outcomes by managing schedules, risks, and finances, and providing high-level support to senior leadership within a strategic and fast-moving environment.

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated experience in project/program coordination within government or a regulated sector

Strong analytical and reporting skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

Understanding of Government frameworks, compliance and policy interpretation

Excellent communication and initiative to work under limited direction

Contract Details

Locations: Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane (some roles offer flexible arrangements)

Contract: Initial 6–12 months with potential extensions

APS6 equivalent (daily/hourly rate contracts available)
