Our Queensland state government client is seeking an experienced Project Support Officer (AO4) to support a high-profile public transport initiative based on the Sunshine Coast.

This role offers a chance to be part of a collaborative team focused on improving transport services for the region, with responsibilities spanning executive support, administration, stakeholder engagement and project coordination.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing confidential administrative support to a busy project team
• Managing calendars, emails, meeting coordination and secretariat functions for senior leaders
• Assisting with document control and records management
• Maintaining project spreadsheets, databases and correspondence logs
• Supporting the team with timely reporting on budgets, schedules and resource tracking
• Preparing professional documentation and correspondence using Microsoft Office
• Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the project
• Delivering admin support that aligns with government policies and procedures

Ideally, you'll bring:
✔ Previous experience in executive support or a similar admin/project coordination role
✔ Familiarity with large infrastructure projects or public transport initiatives
✔ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔ Experience working within the QLD Government environment (highly regarded)
✔ A current Class C Driver’s Licence (preferred)
