The Opportunity

My client is one of the largest investment managers globally, with a diverse and prominent asset base across PE, renewables, infrastructure and more. They boast a significant finance team in Sydney and offer an ideal platform for career development for high-performing individuals

The corporate finance team looks after financial reporting, compliance and presentation of results across the group. Reporting into the Finance Manager your responsibilities include;

• Prepare work papers for audit
• Prepare financial statement and analyse trial balances
• Maintain general ledgers
• Month-end and quarter-end close for legal entities.
• Preparation of month-end and quarter end reporting.
• Monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX
• Preparation of debt compliance calculations and certificates
• Ongoing improvement of processes and systems
• Maintain strong relationships with various local and international teams
• Other ad hoc work and special projects

About you

• Complete (or near completion) of CA/CPA
• Exposure to financial accounting in large, complex business
• First-class communication and stakeholder skills
• Seeking your 1st move out of a chartered firm, or are an Accountant out of a complex, ideally multinational business
