About the position:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new Organisational Development (OD) portfolio across the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS). This position is responsible for leading the OD strategy and programs team ensuring programs and initiatives are effectively implemented and managed. Collaboration with other leaders to promote a culture which enables us to deliver on our vision of ‘healthy people, amazing care’ will also be a key focus for the role.
The Manager Strategy and Programs provides leadership to the scoping, development and maintenance of a broad range of OD strategies and plans in the areas of talent management, DEI, employee wellbeing and workforce planning. The role manages data analytics and reporting related to key workforce metrics aligned to the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) strategic plan.
About you:
You will be experienced at leading an OD team and can demonstrate how you have shifted the dial on performance, talent management, DEI, employee wellbeing and workforce planning. You will be able to demonstrate delivery of OD programs/projects across organisations. We are attracted to people with a desire to make things better and a track record of performance. Ideally, you will be someone who has ability to communicate ideas, strategies, and concepts in clear, compelling, and credible ways to stakeholders at all levels. Finally, you will be someone who role models our values and develops others.

The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.
The EMHS consists of Royal Perth Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley Health Service; Kalamunda Hospital; St John of God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
