About the role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior IT Systems Administrator required to assist with management and support of our IT infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Inner Range IT Manager, this onsite role involves specific project-based work, maintenance of on-prem and hosted environments, managing tasks through a ticketing system, and direct interaction with internal users and sub-contractors. You will help manage cloud-based Microsoft platforms, corporate networks, Windows, Mac and Linux devices, Active Directory, and other cloud-based systems. You will also oversee the provisioning of hosted applications, address cybersecurity concerns, and monitor overall system health to ensure reliable and secure operations.

What you'll be doing

Project-based work - Liaise with IT department staff to determine and implement new IT systems as per agreed requirements.

IT Systems Maintenance - Administer and maintain on-prem and cloud-based systems such as MS Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, Intune, Sharepoint, Pronto, GitHub, Wix, Zoho, and other platforms.

Network Management - Maintain and troubleshoot corporate network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless), ensuring performance, security, and uptime.

Device Management - Provide hands-on support for Windows and Mac desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

User Management - Manage onboarding processes, including setting up accounts, provisioning applications, and configuring devices for new users.

Cyber Security - Assist in identifying and addressing cybersecurity risks, implementing security protocols, and maintaining compliance with industry best practices.

Process Level 2 and 3 IT Support Tickets - Assist in resolution of complex problems reported by internal staff using the company ticketing system.

General IT Support - Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support for internal users, manage software licensing, warranties, and asset inventories, maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

What we're looking for

Proven hands-on experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, some experience with Mac and Linux desirable.

Experience managing Azure services and hosted environments, including billing and resource management.

Proficiency in corporate network administration and Active Directory management.

Familiarity with hosted server management and hosted applications.

Ability to address cybersecurity issues and maintain system health and security.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with users of varying technical proficiency.

Experience using a ticketing system for managing support tasks and prioritizing requests.
