About the Role

As the Enterprise System Administrator you will:

Make recommendations to the CIO in relation to an integrated network and system architecture framework that drives efficiency and effectiveness for the School.

Maintain the School’s IT infrastructure

Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services

Implement, manage and monitor Azure resources

Manage user accounts, groups and permissions.

Set up and manage virtual networks, VPNs and network security groups in Azure

Implement and maintain security measures

Develop and maintain backup and recovery protocols

The successful applicant will:

Minimum 3 – 5 years IT Support experience encompassing enterprise system administration and relevant and demonstrated experience in a similar role highly regarded

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and / or extensive experience

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).

Experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in an educational setting.

Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and hardware.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, Azure infrastructure and basic networking concepts.

Hold a knowledge of network configuration, management and troubleshooting

Be able to implement and manage robust security measures to protect data and systems.

Have strong analytical and diagnostic skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail

Have a strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux), networks and hardware

Be able to manage multiple tasks and work well both independently and as a part of a team

Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments

Work effectively within a collaborative team environment and contribute positively to the wider school community

Be able to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users and collaborate with other IT team members

Be punctual, sharp, and dependable

Good communicator and provider of amazing customer service with clear interpersonal skills and a great eye for detail

Demonstrate the School’s values, Courage, Curiosity and Integrity.

You must hold a current Working with Children Check and have the right to live and work in Australia.
