Your new role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager your new role will see you working Monday to Friday commencing at 9am, adhering to growing the service / aftermarket portfolio of clients for a leading compressor manufacturer. Your new role will ultimately see you visiting clients and on the road most of the time. You will identify, win and develop service and maintenance contracts.
You will be pivotal to business success by ensuring client growth, ability to manage your designated region autonomously, and maintaining strong customer service rates (NPS).
Your new duties will see you:
- Focusing on 70% new clients and 30% existing account management;
- Determine market possibilities for new aftermarket products;
- Converting existing contracts onto a regular preventative maintenance scheme, and signing service contracts with new clients;
- Maintain strong market knowledge of aftermarket / service industry along with key industry events and association bodies;
- Relative quoting, reporting, and analysis as needed;
- Provide support to Customer Service Manager, Sales Specialists, Internal Personnel and alike; and
- Regional visits as needed to ensure capaitilisation on market share.
What you need to succeed
- 3-4 + years proven technical sales background (within spare parts / aftermarket, compressor industry will be viewed as highly advantageous);
- Ability to be fully flexible and committed to developing your region requirements including driving regional customer growth;
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen – prioritising customer satisfaction aligned with growth figures; and
- Hunter mentality and growth mindset, driven to persue market knowledge by attending events, being customer facing and looking to grow your career in a business that offers ample opportunity for development.
