A well-established property development and investment company with over 40 years of experience is seeking an experienced Facility Manager / Cordinator to assist in managing a diverse portfolio. With assets spanning commercial, industrial, retail, education, and healthcare sectors across the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Lake Macquarie regions, this company prides itself on delivering high-quality developments and fostering long-term client relationships.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Facility Manager / Coordinator to join a successful and growing business. In this role, you will manage repairs, maintenance, and CAPEX projects across the existing property portfolio while overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Management – Oversee repairs, maintenance, and CAPEX works, ensuring all properties meet agreed standards.

Budget Management – Monitor and manage operating expenses in line with approved budgets.

Contractor & Consultant Management – Retain and expand relationships with preferred contractors and consultants.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring – Provide regular reports to senior leadership on property portfolio performance.

Project Cost Management – Oversee budgeting, cost reporting, and planning to ensure financial control.

Project Design Management – Manage design documentation, consultant coordination, and approval processes.

Project Risk Management – Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while managing stakeholder negotiations.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Facility Management, Project Management, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Strong understanding of project life cycles, budgeting, and contractor management.

Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
