About the Role:

As a Customer Support and Sales Consultant in the Trade and Consumer Sales team, you’ll work exclusively with online customers, providing support through phone calls, email tickets, and chats. This is a dynamic, online-only role—no on-the-road selling—where you’ll combine your sales expertise with exceptional customer service to assist both trade and consumer clients.

You’ll help customers select the right products, create tailored quotes, and convert inquiries into sales. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who is results-driven, thrives on meeting and exceeding targets, and enjoys building strong relationships in a supportive, online environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Sales-Driven: Manage and respond to online sales inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, targeting trade and consumer channels.

Quoting: Create custom quotes, while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Lead Conversion: Leverage your product knowledge and sales strategies to convert inquiries into sales.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with trade clients, offering advice to help them succeed.

Account Management: Guide customers through their online renovation journey from inquiry to order fulfilment, providing proactive solutions and expert advice.

Sales Strategy: Support team targets by retaining existing customers and assisting with new client prospecting.

Customer Service and Post Sales Support: Deliver outstanding online service by resolving queries and ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For:

Sales Expertise: Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within plumbing, renovation, bathroom, design or home improvement industries.

Customer-Centric: A strong focus on building lasting customer relationships while meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage online clients and secure sales.

Self-Driven: A proactive, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced online environment.

Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (like Zendesk) and e-commerce platforms (like Shopify) is an advantage.

Results-Oriented: You’re motivated by achieving KPIs and driving revenue growth.

Flexible Working: Ability to work from home effectively, supported by clear KPIs, a collaborative team, and all the tools needed to succeed.

Work hours are Monday to Friday and either 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm as we value a work-life balance.

We encourage candidates from Melbourne and Sydney but will also review applicants from NSW, VIC, and QLD as we promote remote and flexible working arrangements.
