Cape Byron Distillery – home of Brookie’s Gin and Cape Byron Whisky – is searching for a high-performing Sales Executive to lead growth across South East Queensland.
This is not a junior role. We're looking for a commercially minded operator who understands the local market, has strong existing relationships across on- and off-premise, and is ready to make a real impact with one of Australia’s most awarded independent distilleries.
About the Role
Own the SEQ territory – from Brisbane to the Gold Coast and surrounds.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key on-premise venues, independent retailers, and national wholesale accounts.
Execute customer growth plans, tastings, and in-store activations that drive pull-through and brand visibility.
Launch and scale exciting new releases – including limited-edition whiskies, new RTDs, and our innovation pipeline.
Report directly to the Head of Sales, with support from the marketing/trade team.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience in liquor sales – spirits highly preferred; premium wine or RTD experience considered.
A proven track record of hitting sales targets and building strong trade relationships.
Confident in both new business development and key account management.
Strong understanding of the QLD on- and off-premise landscape.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and thrives with autonomy.
Bonus points for bartending or ambassador experience.
