The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Import Export Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team at TGP Logistics Pty Ltd in North Lakes, Queensland. As a full-time role, this position is a crucial part of our freight and cargo forwarding operations, responsible for the successful coordination of import and export shipments throughout the East Coast of Australia.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of international freight forwarding for a diverse portfolio of import and export clients

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including customs clearance documentation, invoicing, and regulatory compliance

Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and delays to proactively address challenges

Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize transportation routes, modes, and schedules

Provide regular updates and reporting to clients on cargo status and performance

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our freight forwarding processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar import export coordination role

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex logistics challenges

Proficient in using freight and logistics management software systems. CargoWise will be highly regarded

Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
