About the role:
Our client is a leading family-owned cattle and beef supply chain organization. They oversee the entire process from cattle breeding to beef processing and distribution and their dedication to best practices ensures high-quality meat products for both domestic and export markets.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Quality Lead to join their team, for the Afternoon shift, working 5pm-midnight, Monday to Friday.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Reporting into the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for day-to-day coordination and assessment of QA & QC Officers and assessment and reporting of operational statutory, regulatory, food safety, and quality compliance with documented procedures, and the initiation of preventive or corrective action(s) in the event of trending to, or occurrence of, noncompliance.
Deputize on behalf of the Manager Quality & Accreditations for all on site food safety.

Skills/experience:
To be considered for this position, you will require:

• Certificate III in Food Processing/Diploma in Quality Management or relevant qualification
• HACCP and AUSMEAT qualifications would be advantageous
• Experience working in a leadership role in an FMCG or food-related facility, with strong knowledge of food safety and quality hazards, risks, and control measures is essential

• Intermediate to high computer skills (Microsoft suite)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances
• ILeader database knowledge would be beneficial
• Understanding of BRC, Export, CFMSR, Approved Arrangement Guidelines
