About the Role

As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager and Construction Manager by overseeing daily site operations. You will supervise teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate site-based labour and subcontractors.

Provide hands-on support for construction tasks and site activities.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures.

Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to project plans.

Conduct regular site inspections and report progress.

Operate machinery and assist with deliveries as needed.

About You

Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry.

Valid Construction White Card.

Strong knowledge of site safety and construction processes.

Leadership ability and team coordination experience.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

Tickets for machinery operation or traffic control (desirable).

Key Attributes

Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Safety-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.

Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments.
