About the role

As a Specialist Hire Controller, you'll be based at our Distribution Centre (DC), supporting the Sanitation Sydney team in helping customers find the best equipment solutions for their needs.

Our Penrith DC is a hub for our specialist equipment. It allows us to deliver fast, reliable, and expert service to our customers across the region by centralising logistics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance-all in one place.

This role requires you to

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone or via email
• Recommend the right specialist equipment or products to meet the customers needs for their job
• Manage hire bookings, contracts, and schedules
• Process payments and maintain accurate records
• Help keep the branch showroom, yard, and equipment clean and safe
• Pitch in with loading/unloading, servicing, and other hands-on task

About you

• Proven track record in customer service and sales administration including invoicing, payments, contracts, orders
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A genuine interest in helping customers and learning new things
• A team player attitude with the ability to also work independently
• A good understanding of safety and operational procedures
• Bonus points if you have an interest in mechanics or construction gear!
