Permanent Part-Time Rostering Officer | Community Aged Care
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Gunning Community Care is a not-for-profit aged care organisation committed to providing high-quality care to our community. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Rostering Officer to join our team. In this important role, you will be responsible for efficiently rostering staff to deliver client care across our Aged Care and Disability services.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and maintain rosters for community-based support staff, ensuring all shifts align with client preferences, award conditions, and service agreements
Respond promptly to shift changes and fill requests due to absences, leave, or other unforeseen circumstances
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our rostering systems and databases
Provide ad-hoc administrative support as needed
Liaise with staff to keep updated availability, client schedules, and leave requests
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and industrial relations legislation
Assist with the onboarding of new employees
Coordinate after-hours roster phone on a rotating basis
Key Requirements:
Recent demonstrable experience in an administration, rostering, or scheduling role (aged care experience preferred)
Experience or ability to use various systems, including rostering software and internal databases
Advanced data entry and computer skills (essential)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) (essential)
Experience in rostering staff or workforce coordination
Use of Visual Care systems (preferred but not required)
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (WWCC), and Police Check (required or willingness to obtain)
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (required or willingness to obtain)
