The Opportunity
Our client is a busy electrical contracting business est. 2001. Due to company growth, they are seeking the services of a competent bookkeeper / office administrator to assist with the day-to-day seamless running of a busy expanding electrical contracting business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Based on site on the northern end of the Gold Coast you will be responsible for supporting the hard-working hands-on Managing Director with all the administration associated with an electrical contracting business including:
Payroll – multiple awards
Bookkeeping – invoicing
Office administration / secretarial duties
Coordinating jobs for the trades team
Liaison with clients, team members and suppliers
The Successful Candidate
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator who enjoys variety in their role.
You will enjoy working from a home-based office near Helensvale along side other employees. Ideally you will be seeking a long term parttime position 2 – 3 days / week with the flexibility to work fulltime hours to cover for other administration team members.
And
Be experienced in Intuit, Xero or similar program and electrical contracting software
Possess excellent organisational and administrative skills
Have the ability to multitask with attention to detail
Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
Be flexible and adaptable in an everchanging environment
Have exceptional interpersonal skills and highly proficient written skills
Preferably have experience in working in an electrical contracting business
