PRACTICE MANAGER
We are looking for a Practice Manager to play an integral role in our growing General Practice Clinic.
The PM will be working closely and reporting to the Principal Doctor. You would be joining a team of warm, & professional colleagues in a role that varies from managing staff, to liaising with IT & other external providers, to supporting marketing efforts. Role also includes Planning, Staff Rostering, Developing Better Systems, Improving patient’s experience & working at reception.

ABOUT YOU
Practice Management – We are seeking a friendly, approachable, flexible, diligent & experienced Practice Manager to join our practice. You need to be a willing team member who is a stand out at the front desk, a problem solver and takes the administrative worries off the principal doctors.
You could manage a computer shut down while on the phone to a health fund regarding a billing issue. Knowledge of Medical Directorate/Prac Soft & XERO is desirable but not necessary.
Helping to maintain the high level of service we offer to our patients is paramount.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the day-to-day running of practice to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively,
Staff management - Manage rostering, overtime, leave and training.
A strong desire to work in a GP practice & enjoys front desk work.
Problem solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Identify areas of improvement and drive change.
A passion for people and a personable approach
Minimum 2 years’ experience in General Practice and sound knowledge of practice workings.
Must show dedication, enthusiasm, reliability, and good time management.
Managing the front reception desk as and when required, team workflow, lead & support staff to manage patient appointments, take rebooking.
Drive productivity and efficiency within the clinic.
Liaising with doctors to facilitate practice environment.
Managing the complaints process.
Solid understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
Maintenance and security of the clinic.
Experience in Practice Accreditation is desirable.
Contributing to expansion of our practice's clinical service offerings
Having outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
