About the role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Adelaide Metabolic Surgery. As a part-time Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of our healthcare facility located in Ashford Specialist Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational success of our practice.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the practice

Surgical/theatre bookings, liaising with Anaesthetists, Hospital, Surgical Assistant etc

Invoicing/receipting, banking, and Health Fund Claims

Managing staff scheduling, payroll, administrative support

Reconciling of accounts, communicating with the company accountant

Liaising with healthcare providers, hospitals and other stakeholders to coordinate seamless service delivery

Providing leadership and support to the clinical and administrative teams

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a healthcare practice management role preferred

Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, regulations and best practices

Excellent organisational, problem-solving and multitasking skills

Proficient in using Genie practice management software and Xero accounting software preferred

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Available to cover annual leave and sick leave as required
