The Kew Golf Club was founded in 1894 and has a rich and proud history. We are one of Melbourne’s leading golf clubs, located only 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. Our Club includes a premium 18-hole golf course, practice facilities and a range of casual and formal hospitality spaces in our spacious Clubhouse.

Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will have a commitment to excellence and delivery of great hospitality and Member experiences, along with the following:

• Previous experience in a five-star hotel, functions and events centre or private club environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with members, clients and co-workers.
• Excellent attention to detail and personal presentation.
• The ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and meet critical deadlines whilst handling multiple events simultaneously.
• À la Carte dining experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Current RSA certificate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager by selling, booking and coordinating events.
• Coordinate and supervise the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events.
• Conduct site visits.
• Prepare event orders to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients to understand and meet their event needs.
• Manage and train staff to ensure they deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee logistics, including seating arrangements, catering, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
