About the Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the beverage service and operations for our busy functions and events calendar. Reporting to the Functions Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of functions—from birthdays, celebrations of life and weddings to corporate events and game day activations, Club celebrations and Community and VIP events.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day to day bar operation during functions and events including opening, operating, and closing procedures, incident reporting and the finalisation of accounts/bar tabs

Lead and support a small team of bar staff, including training, mentoring and shift supervision

Work collaboratively with the Functions and Events team to ensure seamless delivery of service and that customer expectations are exceeded

Ensure smooth and timely setup and pack-down of events

Maintain high standards of customer service and presentation

Promote the benefits of Club membership and the usage of membership cards

Liaise with the cellar team to ensure appropriate stock levels and bar prep before, during, and after events

Adherence to all legislative, regulatory and industry standards to the venue polices and procedures

Ensure RSA/RSG compliance and safety procedures are followed at all times

Ensure the venue maintains a reputation as the premier licensed venue, respected throughout the local community for its high standards of service and facilities

About You:

Previous experience in a supervisory bar role (functions/events experience preferred)

Strong leadership and communication skills

A keen eye for detail and commitment to customer satisfaction

Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays

Hold a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and RSG (Responsible Service of Gaming) certification

Have completed a Certificate III Hospitality and at least 2 years relevant industry experience
