The Opportunity:

As a Senior Project Officer, you'll take the lead on a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects for Campbelltown City Council. From community facilities to capital works, your focus will be on delivering safe, high-quality outcomes – on time and within budget.

You'll manage contractors, oversee WHS compliance, track progress, and support strategic planning alongside experienced council staff.

Your key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of capital works and infrastructure projects
• Oversee budgets, timelines, risk, and stakeholder communication
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards
• Prepare reports, project plans, and risk assessments
• Lead site inspections and manage external contractors

About you:

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in project delivery within local government or infrastructure desirable
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
