Are you ready to lead the future of construction? This leading QLD Government Department is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team, to lead building construction projects within the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Team.

We're seeking a Project Manager with a passion for progressive building techniques and a strong background in end-to-end project delivery.

The role

• Co-ordinate and manage the full project lifecycle for MMC projects including predesign, design, documentation, contract administration and post occupancy evaluation activities.
• Co-ordinate and manage project procurement activities for building projects including contractual aspects and agreed parameters of time, cost and quality.
• Liaise with the appropriate client representatives on operational matters.
• Assist in engaging, liaising with and co-ordinating external consultants and Portfolio staff involved in the provision of all project aspects.
• Provide advice to Client Representatives on procurement methodologies and project programming.
• Perform project maintenance within the Financial System, including billing, scheduling, and reporting.

• Have building construction, building or residential project management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Be familiar with Australian Standard for tendering, and non-price criteria in tender evaluations.
• Construction/engineering related education.
• Familiar with contract law concepts, building construction industry practices.
