Your Mission

Lead the Charge - Oversee and coordinate the aerial treatment project to combat fire ant infestations.

Project Management Mastery - Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure effective execution and evaluation of suppression efforts.

Team Leadership - Guide and supervise a small but dynamic project team in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.

Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with landholders, government agencies, and industry professionals to drive success.

Data-Driven Approach - Manage data collection, mapping, and IT integration to support governance and reporting.

Public Representation - Be the face of the Fire Ant Suppression Taskforce at events, field days, and community engagements.

Flexibility Required - Some weekend work may be necessary to keep up with the program's demands.

What You Bring to the Team

✅ A proven track record in project management and team leadership.
✅ Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
✅ Experience in environmental management, biosecurity, or invasive species control is highly regarded.
✅ Ability to work in a high-energy, mission-driven team.
✅ Familiarity with mapping software, GIS tools, or data collection methods is a plus!

Mandatory Requirements

A current, unrestricted 'C' class driver's licence.

Full working rights in Australia (no limitations).

A National Police Clearance (dated within the last 12 months).
