We are offering $100k - $110k for this role, negotiable based on experience.

The Role

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for driving an efficient transport function of the RINO business. This will include managing the RINO fleet vehicles with all facets such as Fatigue Management, NHVAS, PBS, sourcing and allocation of trucks for outbound customer delivers as well as internal stock movements. You will oversee a growing fleet of RINO trucks as well as a list of third-party contractors. This is a unique opportunity to further develop a transport function, ready for the next phase of our growth. Key responsibilities include:

Manage a small team of drivers with view to grow as the business grows

Maintain the RINO fleet to ensure we are compliant

Actioning the daily allocations and deliveries

Onboard the new transport management system to handle growth

Ensure daily reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner

Manage contractor relationships and service levels

Liaise with customers to build strong relationships

Executing CoR (chain of responsibility) requirements to ensure compliance.

About You

We are looking for a driven, passionate person that wants a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic environment. If you are looking to come onboard you will have a demonstrable skill set in the following areas:

Hands on approach to allocations and customer support

Previous experience in a load planning, allocating or transport operations environment

NHVAS knowledge including fatigue management, load restraint and mass management

Strong work ethic with a passion for industry and commitment to continuous improvement

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience using PBS schemes within logistics

Demonstrated understanding of managing priorities in the workplace with a high attention to detail

Additional Information

Must hold and maintain a valid driver's licence

Must have permanent working rights with no restrictions.

Hours are Monday - Friday - Day shift hours with the occasional Saturday morning.
