About the role
The Transport Team Leader role will coordinate the daily schedule of regional client transport demands and effectively and efficiently assign transport resources (personnel namely Transport Officers and vehicles) to meet the collective transport requirements. The position will coordinate the operations of the MATSICHS region client transport services including allocation, client needs and resources including ensuring personnel and vehicles meet the needs of clients to provide support in accessing medical and health services in Brisbane.
Within the role, you will be required to:
• Manage the provision of a professional, courteous and safe transportation of IUIH clients and medical courier services as required
• Ensure effective coordination of resources to meet the IUIH transport services in the provision of a coordinated regional transport service.
• Address fleet/vehicle requirements in consultation with the Business Services Coordinator
• Oversee the Allocations Officer and review “next day” Transport Schedule systems, processes and outcome
• Coordinate all in day changes to schedule based on changing client demands, cancellations and driver availability and problem solve issues as they arise
About you
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
• Current Criminal History Check
• Current Disability Workers Screening Check (prior to commencement)
• Current CPR Certificate
