Transport Clerk/Allocator – Portside Operations

We are looking for a permanent Transport Clerk/Allocator in our Portside Operations reporting to the Container Operations Manager.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter container movement data into internal systems

Book and manage time slots through port booking systems (e.g. 1-Stop, VBS)

Allocate and schedule container pickups and deliveries

Monitor container milestones and update records in real-time

Prepare and manage transport documentation and manifests

Communicate with customers, drivers, and port terminals regarding bookings and updates

Provide general administrative support to the transport team

What You’ll Bring:

Previous experience in transport or logistics admin (portside operations preferred)

Freight Tracker experience highly regarded

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Strong understanding of port booking systems (e.g. VBS, 1-Stop)

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport management systems

A proactive attitude and strong communication skills
