About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Richmond Health Clinic as a Practice Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the clinic, located in Adelaide, SA. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our patients.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee all administrative functions of the practice, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial management
Implement and maintain efficient operational processes and procedures to optimise practice workflows
Coordinate and supervise the work of the administrative and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient service
Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, and other external stakeholders to address patient needs and resolve any issues
Contribute to the development and implementation of the practice's strategic plan, policies, and procedures
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centred culture within the practice
What we're looking for
Experience in a Practice Management role, or previous work in a general practice in a senior role.
Strong understanding of medical office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and compliance with healthcare regulations
Leadership and management skills – Ability and experience as a leader including setting direction, motivating and influencing others; ability and experience in major decision making and problem solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
High levels of motivation to perform at high standards and achieve key targets.
Proficient in the use of Best Practice management software and other relevant computer applications.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care
Marketing skills- ability to promote and represent the practice, as well as network with key organisations and individuals.
Demonstrated business development skills is an advantage.
