About The Role
Sales Representative/ FT – Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
In this role, you will be pivotal in expanding business within the Sydney Metropolitan area. 4 times a year, you will also be required to travel to the Central Tablelands. You will be occasionally supporting your team with internal sales, logistics and the daily functions of the team as required, however you will mostly be offsite, selling our products and services to customers. Your goal is to maximise sales and brand promotion through effective customer engagement strategies. You will be working in a small team, reporting to the Sydney Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
Continually increase sales of the branch
Expand our reach into new customers for our latest product, Australian Garnet.
Promote our Burwell made product range.
Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with existing customers
Acquiring new customers by generating new leads and targeted prospects though proactive inquiry generation and developing effective business relationships
Visiting prospective and existing customers as per call cycle
Provide a high level of customers service to prospective and existing customers.
Liaise with the wider branch network, to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Exceed monthly targets
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company standards, prioritising a safe working environment
Maintain and/or lead team to communicate with clients effectively
Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Document project activities, progress, and performance accurately and comprehensively.
Respond effectively to any on-site emergencies or unforeseen challenges.
Other duties as directed by our Sydney Sales Manager
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Australian drivers licence
The ability to work independently and within a team.
Ability to have a positive approach to challenges
Good problem solver
Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
Direct selling experience
Ability to work unsupervised.
Planning/Time management of call cycle
Ability to identify pain points and address customer needs.
The ability to work within a team with a positive approach to challenges.
A commitment to company OH&S policies
Offsite/ on the road sales experience
Excellent communicator at all levels
Effective decision maker
Some physical lifting of equipment / hoses is a usual task, so a degree of fitness is required.
Forklift licence is not essential but is a benefit
Knowledge of the industry would be advantageous.
Ability to plan and problem solve.
Ability to meet deadlines.
